I go to the gym to lift weights. Sometimes I just want to do some exercise like push ups or squats without any added weight. Either way I try to increase my reps before I am increasing weight. I like my training that way because for me it is easier to keep my (hopefully correct) form in every exercise than raising the weights.

To keep track of my progress I thought of a simple app that I could build. And here it is: easyrepcounter. You create exercises you care about and then you simply start tracking reps.

When you are done you get a summary of the exercise. You can check it out and take a rest before your next exercise.

You can check out if you are improving by comparing your past exercises. More or less detailed. You decide.
